This report is based on an industry survey conducted with TVBEurope and TV Tech in summer 2024.
This is the first research to cut through AI hype and focus on how broadcasters and media companies use AI in daily operations. It provides early adopters a benchmark and shows vendors the AI capabilities their customers want.
The objective was to evaluate current AI adoption, future plans, and industry concerns, with a focus on areas such as operational efficiency, bias, and copyright.
The survey captured insights from a diverse range of buyer organisations, including public and private broadcasters, streaming platforms, post-production providers, and managed service providers, among others.
Vendor participants included hardware manufacturers, software providers, cloud and SaaS service providers, and system integrators.
These findings provide a snapshot of industry sentiment, highlighting both optimism and caution as companies navigate the potential of AI.
